Counter trays for bars, lollies and sharing bags, sized to the wrapper.

Compartments for palettes, serums and lip products with a printed header.

Stepped and slotted trays that keep small sticks in neat rows.

Rigid and card displays for jar and pillar candles, with or without a window.

Counter displays for snacks, bars and sachets on deli and café counters.
A display for lip balms and a display for jam jars have almost nothing in common. One holds tiny sticks that tip over; the other carries heavy glass that needs a strong base. Starting with the product type means the display is built for the real job: the right slots, the right tiers, the right board and the right print.
If your product is not listed here, the same thinking applies. Send us one and we design around it.
It also changes what the print should say. A sweet display sells on colour and flavour, a cosmetic display on shade and finish, a candle display on scent, and a food display on appetite. The product type tells us where to put the words and the pictures.
| Product | Main challenge | Usual answer |
|---|---|---|
| Sweets and chocolate | Bright wrappers, quick sales | Low tray with header, gloss finish |
| Cosmetics | Mixed sizes and testers | Compartments and tiers |
| Lip balm | Tiny items that tip | Stepped rows or slots |
| Candles | Heavy glass, gifting | Window boxes, inserts, rigid board |
| Packed food | Busy counters, cleaning | Compact display, wipe clean finish |
Confectionery sells fast and on impulse, so the display is low, bright and easy to reach into. Sweet display boxes are cut to the wrapper, with dividers for flavours and gloss lamination that keeps colours bright under shop lights.
Many confectionery brands order displays sized to exactly one outer case, so the shop fills the display from a single case and knows when to reorder.
Beauty products come in mixed shapes and are often sold with testers. Cosmetic displays use compartments and tiers so a palette, a serum and a lipstick can sit side by side. Lip balm displays are smaller still, with stepped rows or slots so each stick stands up and every flavour is visible.
Salons and pharmacies are the usual homes for these displays, and both have small counters. A compact footprint that uses height rather than width is almost always the better design.
Candles are heavy, fragile and often bought as gifts. Individual boxes with windows show the wax and vessel, collar inserts stop jars moving, and rigid board gives gift sets a solid feel. Counter trays hold testers so shoppers can smell before they buy.
Burn and safety details are often expected on candle packaging, so leave space for them on the box. Gift buyers also like a short scent description on the front.
Tins and wax melts are lighter and suit simple card boxes or slotted trays.
Food counters are crowded and wiped often. Food displays are compact, hold packs upright in lanes and use finishes that clean easily. Jars need stronger boards and stepped tiers so every label shows.
Displays never touch the food itself; they hold packs, bars and jars that are already sealed. That keeps the display simple and lets you use any print and finish you like.

If you sell through a wholesaler, ask how they deliver to shops. A display that fits their standard cartons is easier for them to send out with your stock.
Yes. Many brands use one artwork style across a sweet tray, a lip balm display and a gift box, changing only the shape. Keeping a single look across displays makes a small brand look established in every shop it reaches. After proof approval, production takes 5 to 7 working days, and tracked UK mainland delivery is free.
