Tear off lid, raised header and a front that shows every pack at the till.

Low open trays with die cut slots to hold jars, pots and tubes upright.

Self locking displays that ship flat and stand up without tape.

A lid that folds back into a header, so the box ships closed and opens as a display.

Open fronted and windowed displays that keep the product in view.
The counter is where shoppers stop. They queue, they wait for change, they look around. Anything within reach at that moment has a chance that no shelf product gets, which is why counter space is so fiercely guarded by shop owners and so valuable to brands.
A counter display has to earn that space. It needs a small footprint, a tidy look that lasts until the last pack sells, and a header that tells people what it is in a glance.
Shop owners also notice which displays look after themselves. A display that keeps its shape, stays upright and refills easily is the one they keep; the one that sags and spills is moved under the counter within a week.
Each style suits a different kind of product and a different route to the shop. This table is a quick way to narrow it down before you open the product pages.
| Style | Best for | How it arrives |
|---|---|---|
| Counter display box | Sachets, bars, small packs | Flat or filled and closed |
| Tray display box | Jars, bath bombs, round items | Flat, slots fitted |
| Pop up display box | Light products, posted displays | Flat, locks open |
| Display box with lid | Counts of bars and sweets | Filled and closed, lid opens |
| Window display box | Gifts, accessories, baked goods | Flat, film fitted |
A counter display box with a header is the general purpose choice. A tray adds die cut slots so round products stand in rows. A pop up ships flat and opens in seconds. A lidded display travels full and closed and becomes a display when opened. A window box protects the product while showing it.
There is no stock size. Every counter display we make is drawn around one of your products, then multiplied by the number you want on show. Most end up somewhere between the size of a shoebox and a small toaster, because that is roughly how much space a shop will give beside the till. The proof shows the exact outer size so you can check it against the counter.
If the same display will go to many different shops, design for the smallest counter you expect. A slightly smaller display that every shop can keep beats a larger one that half of them refuse.
The more of these you can answer, the faster and more accurate the first price will be.
Most counter displays are E flute corrugated, which is light, stiff and prints sharply. White card suits very small, light displays; kraft card suits natural looking brands printed in one or two colours. B flute is used when the display carries glass.
Printing inside as well as outside is worth it on counter displays, because people look down into an open tray. Matt lamination keeps glare down; gloss makes colours bright and wipes clean.
Every style starts from £0.25 a box. The final price depends on size, board, print, finish and quantity, and we email it within one working day. Minimums are low and quoted per job, so a small first run for a handful of shops is normal.
After you approve the free proof, production takes 5 to 7 working days and tracked delivery to the UK mainland is free.
